There is a Play Along mode and Freestyle mode. In the Play Along mode, tap any drum to play along with various songs. Push the Einstein button to change the background melody. With the Freestyle mode, there is a choice from 3 instrument sets; Classic Drums, Bongos and Sound Effects - choose one and tap the different drums to create your own beats. Push the Einstein button to switch between these instrument sets. There is a volume control button (Off/Low/High)
